Terms and Conditions
The word “CTA” in these terms &
conditions refer to Carlisle Tyres (Aust.) Pty Ltd trading as
Carlisle Tyres & Accessories.
Entry into the competition assumes that you
have read, understood and accept these rules.
Entry into the competition is free, and open only to current & active 30 day CTA account customers & their employees no family members. If you are not an employee of the account holder you are not eligible. COD customers are not eligible.
To enter: Go to www.ctaaustralia.com.au/footy,
register with Name, Email, Nickname, Password.
All entrants must supply a valid email address for the delivery of results. If the results email is returned because of an invalid email address for three weeks in a row, the tipper will be deleted from the competition (including all their tips). If an email address is invalid, a prompt will be given before making tips.
One point is scored for each correct tip. In the event of a draw one point will be awarded. A draw is based on the final result of the match - not the score at the end of 80 minutes play.
Tipping for each round closes at 5 minutes prior the scheduled start of the first game of the round (normally 7.25pm Sydney Time). Some leeway may be given at the discretion of the administrator, but no preferential treatment will be given to any individual - the term "leeway" applies to the fact that the round may be closed closer to the start of the game.
Tips can not be changed once placed.
If tips are not received by the close of the round, the tipper will be allocated all the Away teams for that round. Away teams are those set down in the format set down by the NRL before the start of the competition. If the venue of a match is changed, this will not affect the interpretation of the Away team. The Away teams are shown in the right hand column when making tips.
The competition will run over the entire NRL premiership season, excluding all Finals and the Grand Final (March 14-September 8 2008).
In the event of a tie at the end of the competition, the 1st place prize will be awarded to the participant who has picked the highest amount of clear rounds. The same system will be used for 2nd & 3rd prize winners in the event of a tie for 2nd or 3rd.
The final winners are decided following the last round of normal NRL competition on September 8th 2008
The decision of the administrator is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
